Savon Savon Savon
Being that I am a woman and I still have my "girlie" moments I opted to splurge on a common good, soap. Yes we have to or at least we should use it daily. And in a world where we pay for water when it is readily drinkable from a faucet I feel no shame in sharing my latest acquisition of "luxury" hand soap. The hubby on the other hand...not so pleased. But rest assured that once one smells and feels the cleanliness of this potion your financial concerns will waft away. I coveted the glass bottles (yes my favorite of vessels) of Savon Liquide de Marseille (Liquid Marseille Soap) "World-famous Pure and Gentle Hand Soap from the South of France" for years, dare I say decades before I felt compelled to finally make a purchase. It started with the a bottle scented with Verbena which had the perfect dose of lemon essence to complement the kitchen. Next up I purchased a bottle with the scent (and I loooooove to say this word over and over again with an appropriately trailed giggle) pamplemousse. This grapefruit scented concoction is perfect for the guest bathroom. Then came the rose scent. I am not a huge rose scent person but this one is not offensively floral or obtusely rosey. Just some added details: "Perfectly formulated for daily hand-washing,
Free from any artificial colorants and animal products, Hypoallergenic, Anti-bacterial and mildly antiseptic, Lightly scented and made exclusively with natural vegetable oils"
